The Importance of Coding System in Computer

Matt Thompson
Think about it. Coding and programming are surrounding us 24 hours a day and the effect of coding will only get more and more pervasive. Many people, intelligent people will argue coding should be an essential part of our childhood studies. The method of coding and learning to code enables us to be so much more in this world of technological achievement.
The system by which we code allows us to implement our thought process into the brain of the computer in a way that it understands. The coding system is the cognitive ability of the computer to understand human desire.
Coding teaches you how to think and structure ideas. It’s unfortunate how many people never learn to code and witness the magic of coding that is felt by many of the students who study computer science and CSE. You do not need to enroll in any institute to learn this. Head to YouTube and everything you need to learn to code is there for free.

Why being literate in coding is important?

For current times and the future one can argue coding skills are one of the most effective skills one can acquire. It should be in our national curriculum to teach the art of coding. As we approach towards the inevitable future of technologizes coding literacy is becoming more of a necessity than it ever was.
Not knowing how to code limits you in your usage of software and applications. You are bound to the limitation of the software designed by the developer and you are unable to alter it to your liking.

Coding and programming and their difference

The most general public will think coding and programming are more of the same and professionals will disagree as they use it interchangeably. There are subtle differences in coding and programming.

Coding

Coding simply means writing codes and a coder is an individual writing code from a language to another. Coding is one form of programming that tends to be in use of implementing the starting steps of a computer programming process.

Why is coding important?

Computers don’t understand human language. Computers only understand machine codes that are binaries and hexadecimal.

Programming

You might have deciphered the difference at this point. Programming is different than coding as programming is the process in which you write a set of instructions that the machine follows. It makes the machine and its application to follow suit without any errors.
Programmers, create things opposed to coders who in a way translate languages. By now you might have realized the differences and the overall importance to learn to code and program. If you already are an aspiring programmer or a coder you can test your skills at Online Coding test sites or use it to determine the skills of people under you.
